Ronald Reagan served as the 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. His presidency was known as the Reagan era, as there was a lot of movement from the Republican Party during that time. Reagan was known for his exceptional communication skills.
Theodore Roosevelt was another Republican figure. He was president during the “height of the republican popularity” throughout the United States. He was the 26th President and served from 1901 to 1909. He was 42, which made him the youngest to hold President in history.
One of the first notable Republican Presidents was Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln is talked about in many schools and served from 1861 to 1865, the 16th President. He created the term “All men are created equal,” and he took great pride in serving his country.
