Happy Pride Month! 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜
Know that you are loved & appreciated, even by those who don't know you. <3
(these and a bunch more will be Totem of Undying renames in my packs)
Interestingly, the only time you technically need to go underground currently is for the Stronghold, which Sculk would also change.
I'm definitely open to something else in it's place, though, such as Magma Cream, Glowstone Dust, Prismarine Shards, etc.

Concept Log #3
Eye of Ender Crafting Recipe
(from when a bunch of these ideas were going around)
I don't believe it needs changing by any means, but this could promote interaction with other universal areas of the game, and adds some logic to the recipe.

Concept Log #2
Potion of Leaping
I feel the base values for this effect are lackluster, but have some fun potential.
I'd like to see higher jumps, further fall distance negation, and possibly even increased momentum, to make it really feel like you're *leaping*

I didn't want to force players to actually interact with the Deep Dark, so using sculk veins keeps that interaction pretty tame.
This only requires you find the biome (which isn't too uncommon), and have silk touch.

I would love to see this 🙏
Probably won't happen because apparently the community thought it was the worst thing ever, but I genuinely think the orange, yellow, cyan, and light blue sheep fit Warm & Cold Biomes SO well.
@JaaoMCapucho@Matthew01175314 To be extra clear, I'm referring to the total amount of pixels on the Barometer's screen, which is currently 36.
It would only change 1 pixel at a time, unlike how the GIF is presented.
Concept Log #1
Barometer
Made with 4 copper surrounding 1 redstone dust, the barometer would join the clock & compass as a new navigation tool.
It's function would be to showcase the player's current elevation relative to the highest & lowest parts of the build limit.

Concept Log #0
I have a fair few ideas, so I'd like to share some of them!
I'll post these from time to time when I've got something on my mind.
They usually won't be in a particular order, just whatever I'm thinking about at the moment!
@JaaoMCapucho@Matthew01175314 More of a dowsing feature is what I had in mind, though not quite sure what that looks like in terms of elevation. 🤔
Maybe the meter gets fuller the closer you are, with 1 block exactly equaling 1 pixel?
@JaaoMCapucho@Matthew01175314 I'm interested in some kind of loadstone-type mechanic where you can track specific block types, and that may allow for precise elevation tracking within an area. 🤔
@JaaoMCapucho@Matthew01175314 I think my approach would be to make the main dial about as big as the design allows, and then implement additional mechanics that allow for more precise tracking.
The current screen pixel count is 36, which is roughly 10 blocks per pixel.
(total world height is 384 blocks)
@beca4leafclover For sure!
I do vaguely worry about it feeling *Vanilla*, not sure if it'd be best as an inherent part of the inventory, or another Bundle-type item.
But I definitely like the general idea. :3
@Frosty_SnowKing My idea for more specific ore tracking, is there could potentially be some kind of dowsing feature, kinda similar to attaching compasses to loadstones, but for a specific block type instead.
I don't think I'd want it to outright give away that kind of information, though.
As for the increased momentum, this is a bit of a more experimental idea.
The higher you jump whilst moving at the same speed, the slower you feel, making the effect feel pretty chunky.
By increasing your momentum whilst jumping, it would feel much more fluid!

The fall damage reduction seems intended to counteract the additional blocks jumped, but I think it would feel more engaging if it were even greater.
Something like 6-10 blocks, letting players jump freely with lowered risk.
