She's 91 years old and in a hospital gown. She was arrested for felony theft, and the judge couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Helen and George, 91 and 88, had been married for 65 years. Their life ran on a strict schedule, dictated by George's severe heart failure and the 12 pills a day that kept him alive.

They had always just scraped by. But last week, their supplemental insurance plan lapsed due to a missed payment they couldn't afford.

When Helen went to the pharmacy to pick up George's monthly prescriptions, the pharmacist told her the total. It wasn't their usual $50 co-pay. It was $940.

Helen went home with nothing. For three days, she watched George's health spiral. He was weak, confused, and his breathing became a wet, shallow rasp. She knew he didn't have much time.

Terrified, she went back to the pharmacy. While the pharmacist was busy, she did the unthinkable. Her hands shaking, she swept the boxes of pills from the counter into her large purse and walked.

She didn't even make it past the front sensors. The store manager stopped her. The police were called.

At the station, as they processed her for felony-level shoplifting, her blood pressure spiked so high they thought she was having a stroke. An ambulance rushed her to the hospital.

Now, it's the next morning. She was brought directly from her hospital bed for her arraignment, still in the thin blue gown, her frail wrists in chains.

"I never thought I'd see a day like this, your honor," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Judge Marcus looked at the charges, then at the tiny, terrified woman. He was visibly shaken, his face a mix of sorrow and disbelief.

"Bailiff," he said, his voice quiet but firm. "Get those chains off her."

He looked at the prosecutor. "Felony theft? For this woman?"

"Your honor," Helen cried, "He couldn't breathe... I didn't know what to do. He's all I have. I just needed his medicine."

The judge's expression hardened, but not at her. He was furious at the situation.

"This is not a criminal," he said, his voice echoing in the silent court. "This is a failure of our system."

He dismissed the charges instantly. But he wasn't done. He called an immediate recess and had his clerk call the hospital's social work department from the bench.

"I am sending Mrs. Miller back to the hospital, and she is not to be billed," he ordered. "And I want a social worker at her home today to get her husband the medicine he needs and get them enrolled in an emergency assistance program. We will not let this happen."

They are now considering putting an IPAS centre into Dublin's Phoenix Park

THE State has considered locating an asylum-seeker reception centre at a historic site in Dublin's Phoenix Park, the Irish Mail on Sunday has learned.

The MoS understands that internal discussions have already taken place in Government about putting a reception centre for international protection applicants on part of the 14-acre site where Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSI is now situated.

So we have alreadv had discussions with different agencies at various levels, but there has been no solid conclusion. At this stage, we are going to have to consider some drastic options - and one of those is an international protection centre and maybe some longer-term accommodation for asylum seekers. It is up in the air for now, and we know it will be controversial.

A man convicted of raping four children under 13-years-old in Leeds fled to Ireland while on bail. He spent 33 days on the run before he was found by Gardaí and arrested in a town in North Cork. Recently a different man of Pakistani and German nationality was arrested in Cork and returned to Germany where he is wanted for alleged kidnapping offences.

These cases are extremely concerning. Ireland needs to have a serious debate about immigration enforcement measures. It is unacceptable that Ireland can be treated as a destination for foreign convicts or wanted persons to escape justice and accountability.

Australia is quietly committing to a staggering $7 to $10 trillion 'capital reallocation' by 2050 to chase Net Zero and become a 'Green Hydrogen Superpower.'

That amounts to a jaw-dropping $303,000 per capita gamble — conducted with zero formal democratic mandate from the Australian public.

Australia's vast, proven energy reserves of coal, gas, oil and uranium are being sidelined for what currently amounts to one man's pipe dream. Green hydrogen relies on highly complex technology that still can’t reliably power a mid-size bulldozer, let alone sustain a national electricity grid.

The scale of this domestic sacrifice makes no mathematical sense on a global stage. Australia produces less than 1.1% of global CO₂ emissions. China alone accounts for 30% and the top 10 emitting nations generate 70% of all human-derived CO₂. Local economic self-harm won't shift the global dial.

Between its extensive coastal 'blue carbon' sinks (seagrass/mangroves) and vast, carbon-neutral desert interior, Australia's actual CO₂ footprint is microscopic.

This isn't a rational energy transition — it’s a massive structural handover of national wealth to a global 'green' bureaucratic narrative.

Jamey Carey Misinformation Fact-check.

Following the usual pattern after an immigrant murders a woman in Ireland, most major national news outlets have today extensively quoted leftist NGO Women's Aid in their reporting of Jamey Carey.

Throughout these reports, Women's Aid CEO Sarah Benson lays the blame generically on 'misogyny' with the implication the issue is with Irish men and away from the obvious issue - violent migrant crime caused by two decades of reckless open-border policies by FF/G and with backing by all others to their left.

But, as usual, the propaganda doesn't stack up. So far this year in Ireland - by Women’s Aid’s own figures - 7 women have been murdered.

Scarlett Faulkner was murdered by a woman and a youth whose identity cannot be revealed as she’s a minor. So this is not a case of misogyny.

Linda Costello was murdered by an unknown person. One suspect was arrested and later released. No nationality is known, misogyny can't be inferred.

Eastern European woman Milena Ostojic was killed by her son Dubravko Ostojic.

Yveta Donovalova was a Czech woman who was killed by her husband Tomas Marvanek who is also Czech.

Masuma Sohrabi was brutally murdered by her estranged partner. Both were Iranians claiming asylum in Ireland.

Noreen Daly was killed by Finn Yowell an Irish man.

Adina Costantin, a Romanian woman was allegedly murdered by her husband, Eugen Constantin.

This means by Women’s Aid’s own numbers for this year, out of 7 murders of women, only one can be credited to an Irishman. One is by female murderers and one is unknown.

That leaves 4 - more than half - that were committed my immigrants. "Misogyny", particularly of the Irish variant, is not the problem facing Irish women. Women's Aid, politicians and the national media will go to any length to avoid that truth.

On 20th July: Dr Pat Morrisey, a GP in Adare -will face a Fittness to Practice Hearing before the Irish Medical Council for failing to promote Covid Vaccines and Covid Policies.

Like myself, Dr Morrisey was placed under investigation 5yrs ago for publicly criticising the same vaccine and policies that have since been shown to have caused so much unnecessary death and harm to our society.

It is Tony Holohan and Simon Harris who should be on trial.

Our country is so corrupt. It is truly sickening -Pharmaceutical Companies are in complete control of Ireland’s health policies and the regulator. How can the Minister for Health allow these sham hearings to continue?

These hearings are at least, a good reflection of how our health system functions behind the scenes, and it should at less be clear who exactly is pulling the strings.

I will be at the Medical Council on 20/7/26 at 10am, to show my support for a brave colleague who stood firm and always spoke the TRUTH.

The Minister and the Medical Profession in Ireland should be deeply ashamed of what is occurring here.
