No matter who our coach is next season
This is the required backing @INEOS should be giving him IF they want us to compete for trophies
But it's gonna be the same excuses when the window opens

🚨🇵🇹 | JUST IN:
It is INCREASINGLY LIKELY that Mateus Fernandes will join Manchester United, despite interest from Real Madrid and Arsenal.
[@garyjacob/@TimesSport]
🚨 Manchester United admire Eli Junior Kroupi, but Bournemouth have no intention of selling him this summer despite growing interest.
Kroupi has no release clause, Bournemouth are under no pressure to sell, and the club sees him as a key part of their project for at least another season. [@TEAMtalk] #mufc
Do y’all know that Bruno Fernandes once suggested Raphinha & Neves to the bosses but they ignored it
Now he has also suggested Fernandes and most of you are saying a player who’s level up and two years younger to Anderson isn’t worth £70m?
We need Fernandes so bad beside Mainoo
If we end up with
Ederson
M Fernandes
Scott
For a spend in the region of £160-170m then we have done extremely well
That midfield 3 plus Kobbie is full of talent & prospect
& when compared to Kobbie, Case & Ugarte it’s like night & day. Would have everything we need 👌🏻
🚨 Patrick Dorgu is expected to continue in a MORE attacking role under Michael Carrick.
Robinson has emerged as a potential left-back target. Lewis Hall continues to be monitored.
Harry Amass could play a ROLE if he impresses in pre-season. All options over his future are on the table. #MUFC [Sky]

Carrick must have clearly looked at Dorgu's physical capabilities and seen a devastating, high-volume attacking weapon. He has that rare, freakish combination of explosive, long-stride ball-carrying power, elite final-third instincts, and an incredibly heavy shot from distance.
While I didn't initially agree with the idea of making him a permanent LW, you can't overlook his characteristics—especially since he has played well and been highly productive there.
I think this also explains why we are prioritizing a LB over a LW.
Real Madrid want Him
PSG want Him
Arsenal want Him
But he only wants Manchester United. The kind of player we want at the club
SEAL Mateus Fernandes deal with West Ham!
bernardo, bellingham, tchouameni, camavinga, guler, valverde, brahim, mastantuono... it's a total logjam. if mateus fernandes goes there he’s fighting a war just to sit on the bench.
At united under carrick he gets the keys to the entire project from day one. mendes is playing games trying to drive the price up but mateus knows where he’ll actually develop. he has to choose us.
ineos are making the absolute right decision here fr. why on earth would we blow £125m on a single player like anderson when our depth is cooked and we need at least two top midfielders who cost £70m+ each?
if we go all-in on him you can completely forget about a second signing. spending £150m total to walk away with mateus fernandes AND alex scott or baleba is just elite squad building imo.
