@TENTWENTYSIXTY Yeah, he is an phenomenal footballer. Really leveled up this season too. Como are going to want an absolute fortune if they choose to sell.

Everyone has lost their mind over Nico Paz tonight, and rightly so-he is incredible.

Here was our thoughts before Szoboszlai signed his new deal.

[ES @TENTWENTYSIXTY]

@Red__Analysis Id love for him to be the rw incoming, offers variety to rio and munoz there, can be played in the 10, can be played as a rcm in a 3, really brilliant

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

@zel9865 Dom is currently injured which leaves us with 4 available midfielders, that's including Wirtz.

Mora and Trey as back ups to MacAllister and Wirtz would be excellent depth for now and the future.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

Who doesn't want Gilberto Mora, and who does?

If you aren't sure about him, let us know why.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

@Val0nz0M0urning We could definitely do with the Golden Boy of mexican football with 70+ appearaces at seniot level by 18 and a World Cup campaign as a starter under his belt though.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

when you can sign the best young talents itw you do so. There's plenty of space and opportunity still. This would be like arguing that we shouldn't have signed Ndukwe or Ndiaye because we had Leoni and Jacquet.

I don't think McConnel is gonna make the necessary step up personally.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

Right now maybe. What if we don't extend MacAllister? Do we think McConnell is good enough? Fans are calling for both Camara and Scott btw.

We have plenty of scope for Mora to come in, especially with the lack of CMs in the academy that are looking like they'll make the step up- Eden the only one right now.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

@Val0nz0M0urning We have enough CMs?

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

@MobyDrip @angushklfc Correct. Mora has twice as much senior football as Trey and Rio combined.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

@Val0nz0M0urning He won't be either long term imo. He will likely be more of a CM vs a straight up attacker.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

@HendrickD82 Yeah this is fair. I think right now he comes in and is on that same tier in the squad of Trey and Rio.

Long term he's likely going to end up as a CM rather than a LW or attacker, so I thinl there'll be games for him down the line.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

@angushklfc What is your reasoning though

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

@DanLFC1_ If we need that hold up type of profile at CF Gakpo would be perfect to deputize for Isak, especially now Rio/Barcola/Munoz all settled.

Good frame, and he has a knack for goals inside the box, his finishing heat map is below- definitely sniffs out goals.

[Red Analysis @Red__Analysis]

If tonight showed us one thing with Gravenberch' stint at RB, it's that our starting RB should be Szoboszlai when he's back and fit.

A CM at RB offered us the balance, progression, possession and comfort on the ball building out that we lack when Frimpong/Araujo are on the pitch.

2H
- change in shape to somewhat of a 2323 helped in spades
- Nyoni grew into the game was brilliant
- Wirtz introduction helped the press massively
- Rio superb again, MOTM for me
- MacAdonna another excellent performance, our POTS thus far imo
- Iraola deserves his credit after a shaky first 45

Brighton up next #LFC
