@cgyamfi2001 The first one is the one that comes to my mind most when I think about it. I also don’t like the second but I don’t think the text box contributes to it as much as it was just Toby wanting to settle on a name for the route
Another Deltarune criticism I have that might not be so popular is while the dialogue is generally good occasionally there will be a line that comes off as really clunky
I mostly contribute this to the fact the textboxes are super limited (trust me I’ve had to use them before)

While I do trust that Ch 5 will fit well into the overall structure of Deltarune I would be surprised if my main issue with Asgore was fixed by the end
Mainly because it already happened, it was resolved. I could like him as a whole more but that issue will remain
Current deltarune discourse is making me feel old because there is no way someone having a bad but harmless take is ever as serious as some people are acting like it is
Do I just not get it anymore. Ask me again when I’m retired
update! ive limited the inventory on these, now there’s 50 left on sale (honestly this shouldn’t change anything too much but it’ll be the procedure i follow if i ever make more utdr stuff) link to store in reply
@ScotTVGamer If the final code is in the church, I think the dark world was a way to stall and prevent Susie from looking for it, considering the Holiday code a lost cause and beefing up the security around the other one Susie had the best lead on
If this is the Knight (and not Carol) then I would be inclined to assume the pauses are more due to the Knight’s manner of speech, in which case the key might be whatever Kris tells them instead
Something like “Susie has the guitar. Go to the church” would fit fairly well
@CChandelure2 I think it’s the one that works the best honestly. Easy explanation for why they can’t come to Castle Town, expanding on a concept from UT, ect
@Bunnyfarmz I think it depends, the main reason I made her Ramb was because both he and Battat kinda form a pair of off-color NPCs, while Pluey was partially chosen for a joke about Undyne being “Mike Knight” having a connection to the Friend Mike
Kris definitely says something here (hence the speaker knowing Susie has obtained the guitar) so it doesn’t feel like tooooo much of a stretch to say they could have added a bit more too
I know that people probably won’t like this answer either, but I do prefer it to completely context changing parts of the text being omitted since there is already precedent of Kris keeping stuff from us, and us being unable to hear them
