@etaknipsa Iβm good thank you Kate, working in a school in Salisbury, great people and really missing my Year 5s. Working harder in remote learning than I ever did in the classroom!
Huge thank to Maggie from @FunkeyMaths for the training today to implement an incredible maths intervention at @SandroydSchool. Also thank you to @Warminster1707 for their collaboration and warm hospitality #FunKeyMaths
Last day of term done. But I could genuinely start again on Monday. Thatβs the difference between a school that appreciates you and one that doesnβt. I adore my job and the incredible people in it. If youβre doubting your place in the teaching world, find a school that WANTS you.
Had my first term as an NQT taken from me but spent it learning my trade even more as a supply teacher in an incredible school. Will miss those kids but on to my new class in the New Year! Canβt wait. I love teaching and I owe it all to my mentors and colleagues. Merry Christmas
New job. INCREDIBLE school. Canβt wait to get started. This place will make me a better teacher and these kids will teach me as much as I teach them. Iβm a lucky guy.
@tinker4588@tinker4588 made them from scratch on PowerPoint, idea from twitter just adapted it. Prizes are all things for the classroom,eg pick where you sit for the day, 10 mins as teacher, gift from silver box (all stationery) kids LOVE it.
Borrowed idea from twitter weeks https://t.co/g7jO2YTERO work is tough but having a class for a couple of weeks is different, immediately won them over with this. After first day,had children holding doors open, improved manners & better classroom behaviour.Kinda love the class too.

@etaknipsa Thank you for your continued and unwavering support @etaknipsa This school has got it right in so many ways and I canβt wait to be a part of it. Flying the flag for @TroopstoTeacher as best I can
As a supply teacher teaching a class for a month, receiving cakes from parents and gifts from children, can honestly say, truly humbled. Just doing my job but being appreciated. Plus canβt help but adore those kids.
