Today we held our leaver’s assembly for Year 11 pupils.
It was a lovely assembly that consisted of a baby photo game, which brought loads of laughs, staff messages, photos from their years at Reddish Vale, pupil awards and teacher awards!
Well done to the Class of 2026!
It was wonderful to see so many of our year 7, 8, 9 and 10 pupils receiving an ice cream for their excellent behaviour and attendance.
If your child is finding attendance challenging, please reach out to us, we are here to work together and support.
Last week our Y7 pupils have participated in First Aid training workshops- the focus was stop the bleed and CPR.
The pupils were really engaged and were able to put their knowledge into practice on the props.
A huge thank you to @Design4Ed who helped us bring our vision for our Pupil Leadership wall art to life!
The design really brightens up the space and we hope it will help encourage more of our pupils to pursue pupil leadership roles!
We are hosting a support session for parents/carers to attend on 11th June at 5.30pm, focused on emotional barriers to education.
Please see the flyer below for more details.

We are so proud of the Y10 pupils who took part in the Stock Market Challenge at the University of Manchester this week! They competed in a realistic stock market simulation, making investment decisions, analysing trends, and developing their skills in a fast-paced environment.
We are hiring and looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic, committed and ambitious Teacher of English to join the team at Reddish Vale High School. For more information about this and other roles, please visit https://t.co/yBF6bNPetm
Our year 10’s have started their new form time reading book this week, 1984 by George Orwell. The story is set in a bleak, perpetual-war state called Oceania (formerly Great Britain) which is ruled by ‘The Party’ under the surveillance of a dictorial leader named Big Brother.
Congratulations to last week's top RADI scorers and to the 10 pupils who have achieved the Platinum RADI Award, the 18 pupils who achieved the Gold RADI Award, the 4 pupils who achieved the Silver RADI Award and the pupil who achieved the Bronze RADI award!
