@Kakashii2O12406 both the j35 and j20 have higher combat range than the f22 and f35. If a war with taiwan does happen, america cant get carriers close without risking getting hit by hypersonics. this with f35s alr shorter combat range would put it at a disadvantage.

@alpha_defense The reason France has such a strong aerospace industry while India doesn't is because France has invested in aerospace R&D for decades. Mirages, Falcon jets, Rafale, and even Concorde, every program built on the lessons of the last. They didn't become the best overnight.
