A forest guard halts traffic, not for a VIP convoy, but for a wild elephant to cross the road.
Sometimes the road belongs to those who were here long before us.
This is how humans and wildlife can coexist.
Winning against the Chinese. In China.

Srabani, Sudeshna, Sneha & Tamanna in the 4x100 relay.
Power. Speed. Grace. Commitment.
But above all, teamwork.
This clip has it all.
I’m watching it on loop.
More of this please. 🇮🇳
> No seatbelt - fine
> No helmet - fine
But…
> Potholes on road - No fine
We need a "Public Accountability App" where we can upload photos of potholes, garbage and the officials working in that department should pay a fine.

"These questions show a lack of understanding about India. Jews never faced persecution here"

Saw this young delivery boy in our society this morning, carrying quick commerce deliveries.
Had a brief chat with him. He is a college student in Bhubaneswar, working part-time on a delivery platform. Sundays are full work days for him since college remains off.
He lost his father a year ago, who worked in a small private company. No pension for the mother, no savings left for the family. But, this young boy chose responsibility over excuses.
Today, he is managing his studies and expenses in Bhubaneswar through hard work and dignity, while also sending some money back to his mother, who lives in a village about 150 km away.
Stories like these remind you how many silent fighters walk among us every day.
In a feat that redefines human ability, what was once considered impossible has been shattered at the London Marathon: a sub-2 hour marathon. Sabastian Sawe (Kenya) ran 42 km in 1H.59M.30S and Yomif Kejelcha (Ethiopia) finished in 1H.59M.41S.
Simply insane.
For decades, this was spoken of as a barrier the human body could not cross. Today, it has fallen.
A reminder that limits are often self-imposed. What seems impossible today becomes possible tomorrow.
That is the story of human progress.
Apparently, this is one of the earliest known photographs of the sacred Kedarnath Dham, taken in 1882.
Couldn’t take my eyes off it.
No roads. No railheads. No helicopters.
Just the abode of Lord Shiva, cradled by the Himalayas
Back then, the yatra demanded time, endurance, & faith. The journey wasn’t incidental; it WAS the pilgrimage.
Today, access is easier. And that’s a good thing because it opens the experience to many more.
But perhaps something still needs preserving?
The ability to slow down & savour the experience of traveling.
Because journeys are about who we become along the way.

Every devotee deserves a proper and dignified darshan. How can some be treated as VIPs in God’s temple while the rest struggle like this. Many temples in India have well managed systems for smooth darshan. Such systems should be implemented across the country. Most importantly, VIP darshan culture needs to be ended immediately. Faith must be equal for all.
