Moving to Germany for studies via Bachelors degree(Long Post)

Reminder: Bachelor is also tuition-free in all German states apart from
Banden Wutternberg

Unfortunately, 8-4-4 kids only studied 12years in until high school while in Germany, 13years are needed.
So, you cannot join a German university directly from high school.

1. Get Abitur qualification. There are two ways

i. Via Studienkollegien (study in Germany for 1year and sit for an exam related to the course you want to pursue).
ii. Get a recognised 1-year certificate from a reputable institution in Kenya in the course you want to pursue i.e. Electrical Engineering cert from TUK

2. Now you can head to DAAD international and search for a bachelors degree of your choice. Filter to English if you do not speak German.

3. Make an application directly to the university or via Uniassist (individual universities define the process). Make several applications.

4. Head to Fintiba or Expatrio for a blocked account. Fintiba premium will send all documents you need for visa.

5. Apply for visa and if all went well, prepare your travel documents.
