If the current VA for Claire suddenly flipped her opinion of saying that Claire would never be with Leon to now hinting that we "may never know" on an IG comment MIGHT indicate she knows something we don't and I will die on this hill.
CLEON ENDGAME BABY.
This was the best Cleon thread I read and it's so true the more you even consider their blue and red color palette and how Capcom are never accidental with that.
Blue - dark and cool.
Red - light and warm.
in the RE universe, leon has always been imprisoned within a 'noir' atmosphere.. his world is dark; it is fed by shadows, guilt and blood BUT when he stands side-by-side with claire, those rigid 'gray' tones suddenly evolve into 'white' light
the concept of Claire being the only constant thing in Leon's life for so long. the only thing he'sever known, the only advocate for "familiarity". Claire, being the source of his relationships, his trusted companion and the only one that had ever felt like home
โThe answer will become clear some day, but not just yet. What we wanted to convey in the final scene is simple: Leon now has a 'place to go home to', and we hope you can imagine the peaceful moments he spends there," Nakanishi told Eurogamer.
this is indeed his home.
