@KevWeir1 We have been saying this for a while now.. any child with a social worker should be allowed to play a year down.
Easy to do. Would be a significant help to children who are most likely to be late starters etc.

Last week we formed a football club - so many of the young people we work with find it hard to join a regular local team 🤔.
Last Thursday we had one player.. this week we had 3.

Some easy things would help.. eg if you have a social worker you should be allowed to play in an age group that is right for you as opposed to age.

Many kids are keen to play football. But it's hard to get into a team if, for 1 reason or another, you're late starting.
So we're starting a football club! 1st practice last night - 1 player 1 coach!
If we are genuine about including people we must offer pathways to catch up.

@justynprice @WorcsChildren @ActiveHW @UniWorcSSES @donaldvinson @stu_arm I think this is an interesting area.. we need really high quality coaching but that exists in play and that gives them the skills they need to getna buzz from the actual game quickly. The problem is that this tends to be interpreted as putting the kit out and letting them play
