@FabianoSolana My combo: Coinbase One Credit Card + Jupiter Spend Card 4% back in BTC or cash.
Only gripes with the Jup card: they're pickier on which transactions qualify for cash back (fine print has changed a few times), and CS response times could be better.
@SamLResearch@QuintenFrancois Great combo. Jupiter Spend is also really cool if you're into the whole concept of running your bank directly from your crypto wallet.
@QuintenFrancois In my opinion the best combo is CB1 and Jupiter Spend. 4% cash back on both.
I concur Kast has one of the best overall experiences rn , keep in mind the free card is 1.5% cash back. The next step up is premium which is $1000/yr meaning you'd need to spend 50k a year to recoup.
@CoinbaseDuck@torvaman_@coinbase Circling back here, just got access today to direct deposit it's Crossriver bank. Appears the account is for deposit only though for now..
@CoinbaseDuck@torvaman_@coinbase ACH is critical. What are your thoughts on the virtual account structure. Will they build in-house, go neobank style (most aren't FDIC), or traditional? Obvious partners: Lead Bank (most crypto cards/neobanks), Cross River (Robinhood & X Money), or SSB Bank (Jupiter Global).
@daman4545@Flowslikeosmo This is correct it keeps the status quo I.e for example stablecoins parked into a wallet don't earn yield. Unless you swap into a yield bearing token or deposit into a vault. Also allows companies like Kraken, Coin, Etc to offer loyalty rewards.
@malikonchain@KASTxyz Agreed, but we're moving past the points meta. It's too niche being tied to a TGE for non-native users. To capture the next wave, we need rewards people already understand. With fintechs, super apps, & wallets like JUP entering the space, every1 is launching a card w/ cashback.
@torvaman_@CoinbaseDuck@coinbase I can never go back, this setup is amazing. After the IRA feature (it's likely on the roadmap if you view ACATS Tab) I'd say paycheck direct deposit/virtual bank account & it's a full replacement. Might need a partner for that last one if they don't want to get licensing.
@fintechfrank@CoinbaseDuck@maxbranzburg
Does COIN have crypto IRA plans? Seems like a no brainer. Brokerage launch was a great start. Goal should be to keep amplifying the product flywheel: more asset buckets > easier to hit higher credit card tiers for normies > more product stickiness.
@molusol@luminaries Which Solana wallets are your favorites? I originally got onboarded with Phantom, but now I pretty much exclusively use Solflare and Jupiter. Jupiter is straight-up killing it the self-custody wallet + neobank integration with Jupiter Global all in one app is unmatched right now.
@Doonhamer_@inno_ox@jito_sol@MarinadeFinance@sanctumso Native Solana staking is built into the protocol's PoS consensus. It's not DEFI. There is no smart contract risk, no tokens leaving your wallet. Funds move to a stake account that stays in your control.
@inno_ox@theonlywill@jito_sol@MarinadeFinance@sanctumso exactly. Native Solana staking is built into the protocol's PoS consensus. There is no smart contract risk, no tokens leaving your wallet. Funds move to a stake account within your wallet that stays in your control.
@woleswoosh@Carlitoswa_y Correct. I had the same reduction. I still love Kast but I recommend giving Jupiter Card a try.
