It's actually fantastic representation of a trans woman dealing with internalized transphobia and misogyny that leads her to committing. Not all representation is sunshine and rainbows. Jax is painfully good rep it's just not pretty rep, which is what you want.

@HuntressSellia I'm not a fan of the trans suicide, but otherwise I'd argue Jax is actually great representation because of how she's shown repressing her feelings and being a dick about it. Struggle should be shown.
