This is good??😬😬😬😬 there is a reason he’s known for being a rapper, he should stick to rapping!! He can rap about god and Jesus all he wants but singing is definitely not his strong suit

@https_opalhze@Koreaboo It’s become too over the top. I don’t mind him discussing his faith, but now every song, lyric, and even his label revolve around religion. As someone who doesn’t share those beliefs, it feels alienating and harder to connect with his music.

@sunmark_7 I have no issue with him talking about his faith in interviews from time to time, but now it seems like everything revolves around it. Nearly every song, every lyric, and even his label are centered on religion.
@nct4lifey@xneojunx I used to care for his music when they were made for everyone, now it’s clear his targeted audience are die hard evangelical Christians!!! It’s too over the top and it’s alienating fans like us, which he completely forgot about or doesn’t seem to care at all!!!
Just an observation: His parents failed to give him the tools to think critically and evaluate different perspectives. It's becoming concerning how much his entire worldview revolves around God. His faith appears to influence nearly every major decision he makes, 1/2
okay.
i’m very sorry some have religious trauma. sincerely, i am really sorry about that. but please do not project it onto mark. it does not help. if you choose not to embrace his visions and the concepts he chooses, and decide from there that you don’t want to listen to his music or see his future works- of course that’s your own personal choice. but please don’t make posts mocking his faith and beliefs or say he’s being “brainwashed in a religious cult” or smth. please don’t project onto him. you wouldn’t need to be a long-term fan to know religion has always been important to mark from day 1, from even before the firstfruit. if that makes you uncomfortable, choosing to quietly leave is so much healthier than projecting on mark or hoping he changes his beliefs and how important his religion is to him. whether it’s religious trauma or just general discomfort of seeing religious themes being openly used as a form of expression in creative works, i promise that mocking or projecting onto mark will not heal or change any of that.
@cuna_MK Well his Christian parents is the root of all of these, they brainwashed him to think that god is real and that thinking overshadows everything about him
