It’s important that you understand what happened last night.
Last night, Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a candidate who, by all accounts, is on track in the polls to flip Texas blue.
In response, Trump’s FCC reportedly threatened CBS if the interview aired.
CBS caved and pulled the segment, citing “financial reasons.”
In modern American history, no president has been more hostile to free speech than Donald Trump.
But censorship always backfires.
Here’s the full segment Trump didn’t want you to see.
@IktaSentrosi@FriedgeHNIC@NHLJets How you like that you fucking clown???
Snow Mexicans just beat you without our 2 best players due to cheap shitty hits
But whiners gonna whine I guess
See you next year
@IktaSentrosi@FriedgeHNIC@NHLJets Well sir you’re a total fucking idiot who knows nothing about hockey. Stanley is 6’7” and hit Kyrou with a clean body check. Schenn jumped and put both his gloves in our best players head when he did so.
Like a said eye for an eye. I have no issue with dirty hockey.
Thinking further: This is a sitting Premier asking our enemies - and there is no question that the current US administration is an enemy of a free and sovereign Canada - for help to influence a Canadian election for a federal party leader who better aligns with those enemies.
@KevinCrellin @MBDan7 @brian_benes Or a business now. Why would that stop a politician? All crooked but I’ll take whichever one won’t sell us out to Trump
