Police clearly don’t assess the situations before sending out a province wide alert that can’t be turned off.

If I saw the alert and it didn’t say “ 25 year old female took her son on a bus” I would not be upset for @OPP_WR to utilize the amber alert system on our phones.

@AMBERAlertONT @OPP_WR Every amber alert has been people taking their own children. Marital issues should not be taking advantage of an amber alert system. I wish to shut off these alerts to keep from waking up at 5am because a lady took her child to the zoo or something. @Apple please turn them off
