@LucasR14g@Anthony__Koch Both things are true. Everything hard to measure. There is some extreme old wealth that is not public at all and the government wastes unfathomable amounts of money and never relinquishes. Not unique to Canada though.
@baseddegenerate@reddit_lies Sure there are counterparties in some of those countries too. Thessaloniki has a lot of red shirts and a lot of black shirts too. Some how it keeps a balance almost.
@Chris_D_Brewer Do you honestly believe that the model is that accurate? Is it not possible that there are some estimations within those margins? He's made plenty of mistakes this isn't it. It's not a simple equity calculation.
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker It's not constant. Ecosystem can't sustain it. Some of the pools only have 200ish players rotating most of them infrequent so letting it breath is necessary too. So it is indeed capped by the pools propensity for sustained losses.
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker Thought about what I said. This just one way up the mountain that I found. I'm sure there's plenty more and other ideas you have that are worth pursuing.
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker I have all the benefits where I am that you don't. The inner circle is rad until you outgrow it. I have 6 fig outstanding from live whale games but that's like a tax. It's a part of the biz. You're at fault if you let certain things get out of hand. Hosts usually are degens too.
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker It's all the like existential stuff surrounding. Networking and taking care of the people that put you in that spot for instance. I tip hosts well and some get a piece. Also understanding that pkr is almost a ponzi scheme of youre intent on climbing the πͺ and GTO caps win rates.
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker No 160. I'm probably not better than you though. This is extreme shameless bum hunting on private apps. I'm sure impossible anywhere public particularly by me. If you knew every exploit against the worst players who happen to win that night and play deep late HU it'd be similar
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker Now it's private apps and I'm back to software. Built my own HUD software, own SQL db of players. Run nightly reports looking for collusion in PLO5, finding exploits per player versus board nut texture, and running solves versus like Borg mash ups of players. 160bb/100 tho
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker Had all of it, was a renaissance for me late 20s. I took manually notes played 1/3 2/5 and private and managed $100 an hour at 1/3 for a few years all from notes, table selection, Intel from private game dealers doubling as the pit, late nights deep stack.
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker I did exactly this. I didn't bank the good money I made in my late 20s early 30s. I just sustained debauchery. I made a fortune in early FTP days then lost it to naivety of being 20 then learned I wasn't good at poker I just understood software use. Then the journey real began.
@MattAA777@Manco_Poker Sometimes you're in too deep where there is no alternative. I can't be a dentist tomorrow, it's more profitable than all but one person I ever went to school with that I know of. You do have to come up with creative solutions every year but lunch and pail guys grind too.
@poker_reg982736@Ariszn12 It wouldn't have helped trust me and they're also not telling the truth. Probably been through that airport 30 times, never missed but I think that's some serious run good.
@poker_reg982736@Ariszn12 But they have that guy that yells out pending flight times and let's you skip part of the line into the express area that has two counters rather than 6 or 8 and actually slows you down.
@Jamie_K420@itsbaonx@KininiAbigael I'm sure it cuts both ways. My sample is of 1 of extreme wealth. There's a lot of responsibility and circumstance around it. It's probably hard to be happy at the very bottom too. Middle might very well be king, just the right amount of struggle. Quantifying this is difficult.
@itsbaonx@KininiAbigael@Jamie_K420 Extremely accurate imo. Also have to be on guard all the time. My oldest friend is the son of a billionaire. No risk to anything. Has three friends all of 25+ years lives in one of the nicest houses in the city alone.
