The Redwood Police Department hosted a mass patrol today, where we tested out our new patrol districts!

This patrol was a great success, and the department made several arrests and stopped multiple shooters.

Redwood PD is currently on scene of a moderate sized protest and protecting the current DPS Secretary, who is campaigning for Governor.

The Firestone Outfitters parking lot is completely closed.

@FedoraMasterB98 The State of Emergency is ongoing -- we continue to see an increase in crime in the City of Redwood. Significant areas of concern are going to be Original Pizza, Firestone Outfitters, and near the RW Gas Station.

The Mayor of Redwood has declared a STATE OF EMERGENCY, and advises citizens to avoid the centre of Redwood at all costs.

There is ongoing crime, and gang activity which is a severe risk to the citizens of Redwood.

COMMUNITY ALERT:

At 9:10 PM EST, the Redwood Police Department responded to reports of a hostage situation at Generic Burger in Redwood. The situation ended with the hostage and hostage taker being killed.

We thank the SCSO and FSP for their assistance.
