Yes, those games have writing/story, but they work in favour of waifu collection; the whole point is to make you care about waifus so that you wanna pull/spend money for them

Lastly, having the female character whose atracted/care about the MCs doesn't reduce their character, but projecting your yuri slop fantasy does

If you played rdr2, you'll know that they probbly gonna do the same thing where weapons, attacking etc are not available in some areas. Also some npcs cannot even be killed in rdr2 gonna be the same for gta6 I presume.

Something I have noticed more and more is that we live in a culture where people increasingly decide in their minds to hate a game before it's even released, all because of an online angry mob.

Metroid Prime 4 and The Last Of Us Part 2 are perfect examples of this.

Before the games were even released, people were crucifying them and even now people view their very existence as a cardinal sin. 😒

- Combat doesn't feel too good and the sfx when you hit the enemy kinda sucks.

- Party members really aren't that interesting outside of Rei. I'm genuinely more interested in the side characters.
-the overall game progression gets repetitive really fast.
- I would still prefer them to go with full 3d instead of side scrolling.
