@rainnwilson Ezra made us laugh and cry and nod our heads. Beautifully rendered story of why we need to fight for real inclusion in schools. Great movie.
#AIphrase of the day from #POEC Day 1 Keynote @barrydahl: when designing asssessments with AI, keep in mind AI can be "Usefully Wrong.” See his keynote preview video here: https://t.co/ilxJcyk72S

@KevinKelly0@canva Love this, Kevin. I have quoted you since we last spoke, and prior, and will in the future too. Staying positive while keeping our eyes wide open is difficult, necessary work.
POEC hosted a record 332 participants and featured @GinaAnnGarcia, @ThomasJTobin, and 35 presenters, as well as Pima students. POEC22 built upon POEC21’s design which received a @D2L Excellence Award. More recently, @ReedDicksonUX received an @OLCToday award for this design.
Hearing a great workshop now on designing for ethics and DEI by @jesshmitchell who helps us reflect on how all decision-makers are designers, all decisions are design decisions, and all design gives us an opportunity to seriously pause and rethink inclusivity. @AACU OER Institute
@mariatweeting Few stories can pull off starting with a plot summary - yet we often ask our K20 educators to begin with the reveal. Perhaps it serves students better to let them discover the "plot" of our learning, or co-construct it - and as a closer, share the “outcomes” back with us?
Really appreciated Cedric Scott's point that what matters first is what connects us - and looking forward to reading the @WallaceFdn article shared by @DrJillBrown1 on how to help principals rethink walkthroughs. @ancientbbrand https://t.co/Xhvh24yIvz
