"Further impacts can be minimised by limiting global temperature increase to the maximum extent possible and fast-tracking actions to build Reef resilience."
So many critically important messages in the latest report from the IPCC on 'impacts, adaptation and vulnerability'. I think the most important is probably right at the end:
From the Reef Authority position statement on climate change: "Only the strongest and fastest possible actions to decrease global greenhouse gas emissions will reduce the risks and limit the impacts of climate change on the Reef."
Reef Health update for 25 Feb 2022.
Continued milder conditions through the latter half of February have kept sea surface temperatures about average across most of the Marine Park. Read the complete update here https://t.co/3N9S2exBQI
