@KimrioVRC the application won't launch for me. i launch through steam, it looks like it starts to launch and then closes itself, and if i launch through the .exe it says 'must be launched through steam, steam is not running.' i tried verifying and reinstalling to no avail

I did it! The Evil Within on Nightmare difficulty has been completed! Of the 4 streams it took me to complete this, my stream today was easily both the easiest and most chill of the streams as I managed to not get myself frustrated! Next up: The Evil Within 2 on Nightmare!
