“They Will Kill You" earned just $5 million domestically over its opening weekend. The Warner Bros. and New Line release only cost $20 million to produce, but it’s still a rough result because studios have to split ticket sales with theater owners. https://t.co/YhIi1dUtif
Martin Scorsese is like 125 years old, stop shoving your opinions on him, he has done 100× more for cinema than entire film twitter combined, take a walk.
Michael Mann refused to use stock sound effects for Heat's shootout. He used the raw audio recorded live on set. He insisted that the terrifying echo of machine gun fire bouncing off downtown L.A. skyscrapers was impossible to recreate in a studio.
NEW TRAILER - Eli Roth's ICE CREAM MAN turns kids into horror movie monsters.

An idyllic summer town descends into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results.
Pathetic. If you really cared about Star Wars you wouldnt be so accepting of mediocrity or worse & demand a better product. Thats what REAL fans do. #StarWars
If you call yourself a Star Wars fan, you cannot hate Star Wars.
You cannot trash people that love Star Wars.
You CANNOT want the sequels to be remade or decanonized.
ALL STAR WARS IS GOOD 👍
@sneakysalmom I didnt say it belonged to me i said there's nothing wrong with criticizing a shitty product. Not everyone is as easily pleased as you are.
Tom Holland would call "Spider-Man" producers from "The Odyssey" set in order to "lay down the law" about filming blockbusters the Christopher Nolan way:
“I'd say, ‘We are not going to come to set and figure it out. We need to know why we are making this movie beyond the fact that it’s ‘Spider-Man 4’ and they make loads of money and we’re going to just have a big summer. Why are we making this movie?’ And Destin was super instrumental in that, but it was just really great to constantly be calling up the studio and [producers] Amy [Pascal] and Rachel [O’Connor], who I love, and be like, ‘Well, Chris is doing it this way. This is how I think we should be doing it.’ ” (via GQ)

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE is now tracking to bomb this coming weekend.
Its pre-sales pace has been weak and never really improved. It’s now on track for a $27M–$35M domestic opening on $170M+ budget.
This seems really off. Excitement is insane thru the roof. The movie is fantastic. They kicked Star Ware out of IMAX to give it to this.
Everyone do your part. This movie is so good. It does everything right. Skeletor steals the show. All the gen 1 characters are in it. Tons of Easter Eggs. Bryan May on the soundtrack.
Im conflicted. John Carpenter movies are untouchable as far as Im concerned & unique to his talents but Zack does have a banger remake under his belt. (Dawn of the Dead) Tough call. First order of business is keep the project far away from Netflix. 😅
Zack Snyder's 'ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK' is described as a more down & dirty movie than John Carpentes (Who will executively produce the project), using plenty of practical effects or locations. Akin to 'DAWN OF THE DEAD'
Le vieux du quartier m’a dit : « N’oublie pas que la boussole a été inventée avant l’horloge parce que la direction est plus importante que le temps. »
