แต่แล้วตำรวจดันเรียกให้น้องไปชี้ตัวคนร้าย บอกให้เด็กที่มีแผลใจเล่าเหตุการ��์ตอนโดนข่มขืนซ้ำ ตอนแรกศาลจะให้นายโซดูซุนติดคุกตลอดชีวิต แต่เกาหลีมีกฎหมายตัวนึงที่ว่า ถ้าสติไม่ครบถ้วน เช่น กินเหล้ามา ก็เอามาอ้างลดโทษได้ ทนายมันเลยเล่นแง่นี้ ถามน้องว่า ได้กลิ่นเหล้าจากปากเขาตอนโดนทำร้ายมั้ย น้องก็ตอบซื่อๆ ว่าได้กลิ่นค่ะ กลายเป็นลดโทษให้มันไปโดยปริยาย จากติดคุกตลอดชีวิต เหลือ 12 ปี (กูจะบ้า) แถมมีกฎหมายปกปิดตัวตน ปิดหน้าปิดชื่อคนร้ายอ���ก

ตอนปี 2020 ถึงเวลาปล่อยตัวคนร้าย ชาวบ้านไม่ยอมมาช่วยกันประท้วง แต่คนร้ายก็โดนปล่อยออกมาอยู่ดี ตำรวจขับรถมาถึงแถวบ้านน้อง แล้วปล่อยตัวคนร้ายลงมา ก็คือพาคนร้ายมาส่งถึงที่! ให้มาอยู่ใกล้บ้านน้อง ชาวบ้านรับไม่ได้จะกระทืบมัน (ตามในคลิป) ปีนขึ้นรถ พ่อรีบพาน้องหนีไปอยู่ที่อื่น ชาวบ้านช่วยกันบริจาคให้พ่อพาน้องหนีไป เหยื่อ��้องเป็นฝ่ายหนีคนร้าย เพราะกฎหมายดันปกป้องคนทำผิดมากกว่าคนบริสุทธิ์

ภายหลังนายโซดูซุนก็ยังใช้ชีวิตปกติทุกอย่าง ช่วงแรกยังมีตำรวจมาอารักขาไม่ให้โดนทำร้ายด้วย มีการให้ใส่กำไลอีเอ็ม ติดกล้องวงจรเพิ่มแถวบ้านคนร้าย คนร้ายมีเงินใช้ชีวิตที่ได้จากรัฐบาล ภาษีคนทำงานจ่ายให้คนร้ายเอาไปกินดีอยู่ดี
