It’s #BlackHistorymonth and Year 6 have been reading “Windrush Child” by Benjamin Zephaniah to coincide with their history topic and the impact of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. It’s been a fabulous read and the writing has been outstanding! @BZephaniah @theliteracytree

The Woodpeckers did a fantastic job of publishing their own books based on 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin' by @MichaelMorpugo . We then had an author visit as the Doves came to read and enjoy them. Well done everyone!

The Woodpeckers and Doves had a busy day today, as we had two trips in one! We went to Cley and created our own coastal creations and then to Warham to visit the hill fort to be archaeologists for the afternoon.

Toucan Class had a fantastic time on move up afternoon making Tony books about themselves inspired by @britishlibrary Infant Library. It was a great way for kids and teaching staff to get to know each other!

The official poster for our performance of Star Warts by @craighawes which will be performances next week at @ReephamHigh on 18th/19th July at 6PM. The kids have worked so so hard and we can’t wait to show the community what they’ve accomplished! #starwars #starwarts

Year 2 had a very surprising start to their day when they found the chairs everywhere around the classroom, Fred Frog stuck to our whiteboard and our penguin Pete was missing! We looked for clues all day, and created some posters around school. Keep an eye out for Pete!

In preparation for our Superhero Day on Friday, Goldfinch and Wren Class have been reading 'Eliot Midnight Superhero' by Ann Cottringer and Alex T. Smith. Today they all made their own mini Eliot!
