This has always been the most challenging part of my trading journey.
I grew up in a really poor family in a small town in a shitty country. (says every guru, I know). Father's salary was $76 per month. There were six of us in the family, and money meant a lot to us. (The kind of poverty that doesn't end, doesn't matter what you do).
And it made sense because money was the barrier between our suffering and a decent life.
We couldn't sit and meditate to feel better like this Instagram gurus. What the fuck is even that? When you're damn worried about money, nothing helps, man, nothing.

Losing trades, I was constantly feeling like a loser.
How can you overcome it?
You almost can't. That's the reality. It's because they have made everything in this world about money. Happiness is money; family is money; your kids are money; your job is money; you wake up for money; you sleep to be rested when you go out for money; and your life is basically going around cash.
How do you expect yourself to control your emotions after losing, especially after a losing streak?

You first need to understand the importance of why you feel so emotional. Guys on Twitter will tell you to just move on and man up... "don't be an emotional bitch". But it doesn't work like that. You just can't help it. These guys are mostly sitting in their parent's house, and they think they are financially unstable, but compared to us, they're not.

Iknow... you will enter again and again after a loss—just to feel better, just to get one TP and feel like you actually know what you're doing. (Does this sound familiar?)

In my opinion, the only way is to forward test a lot with demo money and then real money.
If you lose a lot, you will get used to it.
But losing a lot won't help you alone. Unless you don't have these points respected, you will feel like shit in the end:

1. ALWAYS lose small. (0.25% to MAX 1%)
2. Never re-enter after stoploss. Let it hit your TP without you.
3. Don't do BE quickly. (if you're out quickly, you'll get emotional)
4. Always leave 10% of the position to run. (making the wins bigger = less damage on losses)
5. Don't scalp.
6. Don't TP soon, and don't re-enter a lot. Do one trade and let it go.
7. Have a DECENT model that works. Don't ape in like a degenerate. Cuz you gonna regret it and feel bad.

Basically, if you win a 10RR trade and then lose a 0.5% trade, will you feel emotional? No.
Try to improve the edge, the entry, the SL placement, the TPs, and the emotions at the same time.
There is no ONE way to fix this; you have to work on it as a whole because no part of this game will work independently if another part is missing.
