Sounds like Robert Jones take the cake for Worst referee so far this season. The way yesterday's match was managed was not professional at all.

@EBL2017 THIS - Arsenal needed to put away just 1 of their big chances up 1-0 and this match was over. Instead, Soto took care of their few chances all game.

Match situation, squad looked tired in the last 20 mins and got very sloppy. Bad passes all over the pitch led to no shots.

With on VAR and one sided call - no surprise Robert Jones is feeling the heat for his performance.

Media also harrassed White about "being bullied" - as if it was part of the narrative?

@kixAFC Dead giveaway was VAR never being used ONCE. There was at least 3-4 calls that needed a VAR check in 2nd half alone - including the headbutt + choke.

So many debatable calls. Arsenal looked to be bullied all over the pitch with no calls. Also odd that VAR was never used in this match too given these calls.

Gabriel Jesus was taken down (similar to the penalty in the United game yesterday), White pushed to the ground, no attempt to get the ball and Saka booked for a dive when there was a push (too soft for a foul, but not a yellow card dive)

@EBL2017 Every defender knew where Robben was going. Every fan knew where he was going. But 9/10 times he still does it without much challenge bc he was so quick and decisive - which gives him more time

Antony isn't as quick. And also not decisiive - losing precious milliseconds of time.

Looks like this match was well officiated. No real big calls to be made.

Worth nothing, only one team came to play though. So that made it alot easier for Simon Hooper and his crew.
