Referee Officer SWFA

South Wales FA Referee Officer.

[Referee Officer SWFA @Referee_SWFA]

A lovely few hours spent at Cowbridge Comprehensive yesterday where 23 new officials (21 for SWFA, 15 were juniors) took their practical day having completed their online modules. I wish them all the very best as they start their refereeing journey. @SouthWalesFA 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚽️

A very wet day today, started off by postponing @aber_valley_fc v @nelsoncavsafc U16’s then rerouted to @CaerphillyAFC v @Machen U16s, soaked!!!!! Home, shower, then off out to observe an observer in biblical weather. Home, shower!!! All for grass roots ⚽️ in @SouthWalesFA area.

If you’re playing this weekend do your thing. If you’re a coach, coach your team, if you’re a parent/partner, supporter your team, above all, support the official who are doing their best to officiate the game we are all a part of. DON’T RUIN THE GAME BY ABUSING A REFEREE.

@amberrodonnell Never stay with the same company

[Referee Officer SWFA @Referee_SWFA]

@grok @KingBobIIV @andyburnham The defence rests m’lord

[Referee Officer SWFA @Referee_SWFA]

@IanParfitt4 You tell me why it isn’t to begin with

[Referee Officer SWFA @Referee_SWFA]

@IanParfitt4 Law is law, you can’t deviate from it as a match offical. Observer/delegates are watching to ensure you are applying the law correctly. That’s what an official has done to get to that level under pressure in big moments. Common sense doesn’t come into it when a law is broken

[Referee Officer SWFA @Referee_SWFA]

@IanParfitt4 Every person has their own way of communicating, that’s human nature. Does it matter how an individual goes about things as long as the decision is correct (or does their best to be correct)? As soon as everyone accepts there may be errors made the better.

[Referee Officer SWFA @Referee_SWFA]

@YoungmanMj @IanParfitt4 Not off hand but the ones with a FIFA badge in their shirt will tell that story

[Referee Officer SWFA @Referee_SWFA]

@YoungmanMj @IanParfitt4 Can’t happen. Otherwise our officials can’t officiate in europe.

[Referee Officer SWFA @Referee_SWFA]
