(4) #Romans 1:26 is not referring to lesbianism. It is referring to a non-coital heterosexual act. "In like manner" the men in v. 27 are engaged in the same act, e.g. anal sex. The context is idol worship. This is ritualized anal sex not #homosexuality. #biblestudy #bible

(3) "Unnatural" in #Romans 1 is not negative. It is only descriptive. It is better translated "beyond nature". #God is seen doing something "unnatural" in Romans 11:24, does this mean God is acting immoral? No! Context determines morality. Not action or design. #biblestudy #bible

(2) If #Romans 1 reflects Wisdom of Solomon 13 & 14, the idols reflect Egyptian gods. The cult of Isis was popular in Rome at this time. Romans 1:26-27 reflects sexual acts the priests/priestesses were rumored to engage in. This has nothing to do with #homosexuality. #biblestudy

(1) Paul uses Wisdom of Solomon ch. 13 and 14 as the literary backdrop for #Romans 1. Wisdom is an apocryphal work written in Egypt. Understanding this work plays a huge factor in properly understanding Romans 1. Even the infamous #homosexual verses. #biblestudy #bible

1) 666 is actually based on something called "gematria" which is the practice of translating letters into numbers or vice versa. 666 translates to "Neron Kesar" in Hebrew or "Nero Caesar". Pretty sure the ancient Jews considered Rome "The Beast".

I think it is safe to say that if this hasn't been fulfilled yet, then Jesus was wrong. Everyone in Jesus' audience here has been dead for over 1,900 years. The fulfillment, therefore, must have happened before the last original follower died.
