We call on Kenyans, civil society, and international partners to stand against impunity and demand respect for judicial processes.

Press statement welcoming the court ruling temporarily suspending the operations of the Panel of Experts on Compensation of Victims of Demonstrations and Public Protests.
Kenya does not need a parallel, illegitimate body created outside the constitutional framework.

Press statement: We condemn the enforced disappearance and incommunicado detention of activist Mwabili Mwagodi. His case exposes a chilling pattern of transnational repression and police impunity targeting human rights defenders.

[Police Reforms Working Group - Kenya @ReformsGroup]

Press statement: Boniface is not a terrorist. His arrest follows weeks of coordinated, well-funded online disinformation campaigns targeting him, members of PRWGK, human rights defenders and opposition parties.

On #SabaSaba2025, Kenyans protested in 20 counties. At least 9 were shot dead, per @HakiKNCHR. Police used military-grade weapons, unmarked vehicles and masked officers. Protesters were blocked, brutalized and denied medical aid. #FreeToProtest

@ReformsGroup Statement on the re-emergence of Ndiangui Kinyagua. As we wait for further information on the circumstances around his disappearance, we note that the spike in abductions and prolonged unlawful detention has caused national intimidation and deep fear among many Kenyans.

We urge the @NPSOfficial_KE to address this trust deficit and the fear by disbanding the multi-agency units and arrest the commanders and officers involved in the cases of enforced disappearances documented by several human rights organisations.
