There was some serious competition at Head Office today as the team put their baking skills to the test for our Macmillan Coffee Morning!

🏆 Taking the top spot was Kevin, who made an incredible Balmforth & Co, Coffee & Walnut Cake using Blend 7, as well as a Sicilian Lemon Cheesecake.

A very close second was Steve May with his Lemon Drizzle Cake – and we can confirm, it tasted every bit as good as it looked!

We were also treated to Jill’s brownies, Zoe’s Mary Berry Bakewell Tart, plus a brilliant assortment of cupcakes and nibbles from Marie.

Safe to say, far too much cake was eaten… but all in a very good cause! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, brought something along and donated to support Macmillan Cancer Support.

We have been out at one of our customer sites promoting the RSL Monyx loyalty card and helping staff see what else their vending setup can do.

Customers can download the Monyx app, scan the QR code on the machine and start collecting rewards with each eligible purchase.

At this site, that means buy 9 hot drinks and get the 10th free.

It is a simple way to reward regular customers, encourage repeat purchases and make the vending experience that little bit better.

We were also on hand to help users get set up and show them how the scheme works.

What does a barista training day actually look like?

We recently spent the day on-site with one of our customers, delivering practical barista training for their team.

The session covered everything from espresso preparation and milk texturing to machine care, consistency and getting the best from their coffee equipment.

Our training is hands-on, relaxed and tailored to the team, helping staff build confidence and improve the quality of every cup they serve.
