Flag football received a formal recommendation to become an NCAA sport.
If legislation is approved by three divisions in January, its first championship projected to be held in spring 2028.
Amazing how people keep misreading Coach Saban. He never said players shouldn’t get paid — he actually supports it.
His point was that college football needs structure: revenue sharing, real NIL deals, and clear rules. Right now it’s chaos with collectives, nonstop transfers, and eligibility loopholes.
Coach Saban won 7 national titles and is happily retired. He’s speaking up to help the game, not hurt it.
He knows the importance of education for players and their future. When the smoke clears. FOOTBALL AND NFL are Dreams EDUCATION AND Degrees is reality.
PSA to coaches/trainers (of all sports): There's no one "right way" for athletes to execute tasks. Give them guidelines & tools, then let them self-discover. Self discovery in sports is the key to development! Stop fitting every player into the same box
This game may not be exciting to some but this film will be studied by every team trying to mimic what this Seahawks Defense is doing. Great defensive football is art!
Evaluating DBs’ 1v1 reps is mostly about assessing movement skills & traits deployment, not the result of the play.
I’d like to see Taylor’s length show up more at the LOS and/or catch point on this rep.
Outside of the low literacy rates, something else that’s severely lacking is curiosity and inquisitiveness. Ppl are way too comfortable taking content at face value with no desire to research topics further. They barely read follow up tweets!
@SleeperSaints@Sp_remd They weren’t on the same page. It’s an option stop or go ball depending on the corners alignment , the initial look they got was press coverage, which prompts Olave to run vertical. After the snap the corner bails. Olave sits his route down while Shough is throwing the go ball
The throw to the back of the end zone is a 10/10 degree of difficulty…
Big big time throw!! Only 4-5 in the league that can make that throw
Completing 68% of his passes indicates he has his eyes starting in the right places on progressions, big deal for rookies.
“When they sent Jameis out there to do the kneel, the only thing that was on Jameis’s mind was getting Jamaal Williams a touchdown.”
