I am Wesley's mother. I have waited 6.5years for the legal proceedings to be finalised, and yesterday the court found his manager guilty of neglect which caused his death.

@drnicxie Serving the state is not about the money you earn. You make that sacrifice to be in service. But appreciate it would feel quite unfair as a member of the medical profession to see this level of pension payment when nurses are fighting over pay rises.
Proud to be appointed to the Safety Governance Foundation Board and continue my commitment to positively impact safety outcomes in Australia. @safetygovernan1 https://t.co/t3JpGOoK9G
WA’s new Health and Safety laws (WHS Act) come into effect today - helping to ensure others never suffer what I have suffered or feel the fear that my son did as he fell to his death. @BillJohnstonMLA@OwenWhittle#industrialmanslaughter
It’s a historic day today with WA’s new Work Health and Safety laws coming into affect https://t.co/oqsPYnb30A

@GrumpyBaker2@abcperth Yes your absolutely right. Despite the death of my son during the refurbishment works @hm Perth city store. H&M went on to award two more stores to the same contractor. Vulgar. #zerofucksgiven
My sons employer convicted of causing his death handed down heaviest penalty in WA history - 320k. Although fine insignificant in value, very significant in setting precedent of 80% of Max. Under new WHS laws soon to be enacted this fine would convert to $2.8M. Win.
Cracking valedictory speech @AlisonXamon You gave a voice to so many of the voiceless in your time in Parliament. Including giving my son’s story a voice too. Thank you deeply. 🙏🏻Your Dad would be more than proud. We all are. 💜
