Ron Muis, Steam Mill, NS, had the longest gourd, 149.25 inches. The Howard Dill Award was presented to Diana MacDonald, Howard's daughter.

And Jeff Reid, Waterville, NS, placed 3rd with a 1228 lb pumpkin. Fred Ansems, Steam Mills, takes 1st place with a 962 lb squash.

Daryl Tingley had the heaviest NB pumpkin and overall placed 2nd in Windsor with a 1381 pound pumpkin

It's official Gerard Ansems of Steam Mill, NS, took first place honors with a giant pumpkin weighing 1415 pounds at the Windsor Weigh-off.
