@YutyTyrant After an quick Google search on yangchuanosaurus skull front-views a few days ago when the design was revealed this was literally the only picture showing an actual front-view (no wonder JWE3s design looks like it does):

I am not as well-versed in sharks as I'm in dinos and therefore can offer few counters—except, that the bauplan of the two extant species that are cartilaginous and closest to a Meg in size seem to be fairly narrow
