Hip-hop is feeling DDG's new album, Hit-A-Thon. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ Wale gave the Michigan rapper props for the release, which arrived last Friday.
"This DDG album tough," Wale tweeted yesterday. DDG welcomed the praise. "Appreciate it bro! ๐ช๐พ๐ฅ๐ฏ," he replied. Trinidad James also joined in with the compliments. "Thanks for saying this," he wrote to Wale.
Wale also said he's noticed DDG's artistry improving. "That mf one of the hardest working pple I seen in his generation," he wrote in response to a fan. "It's not easy . And (to me) he been improving and getting better that's how u know he care bout the music fr."
The 15-track album is a culmination of DDG's streaming series in which he creates an album from scratch while livestreaming the process. Lil Yachty, 42 Dugg, Babyfxce E, OMB Peezy, Ian, Pluto, Real Boston Richey and more are featured on the effort. One of the standout tracks is "Round & Round" featuring 42 Dugg, Pluto, Bankroll Ni and SMJ and produced by K6WYA, Kutta Beatz and Squat.
