My trading journey started in March 2023 with Crypto futures.
I was highly profitable, made enough to put money towards my first house and continue my trading education but when I transitioned to the Nasdaq and Prop Firm evaluations in early 2024... I hit a wall.
Around July-August 2025, I'd had enough of my own shit.
I realised I had the knowledge and could read the charts, but I just couldn't settle emotionally.
Doubts came like tsunamis as soon as I entered a position.
I'd occasionally go on a decent streak then randomly blow an account and take another compounding blow to my confidence.
I was stuck for alternatives.
I couldn't just teach my loved ones to trade my setups because my obsession with the charts had already taken up so much of my time and required so many unforeseen sacrifices.
Occasionally those sacrifices meant me not spending time with them, so it's unsurprising they have a strong disdain for it.
This would've come with its own pitfalls anyway — I'd spent so much time learning this stuff on my own, how long would it take me to teach them?
After putting a great amount of thought into it I realised I needed a machine. An emotionless robot with superior chart vision and an engine that would never micro-manage a position, get nervous, get doubtful, or move a SL too soon.
Then I realised even that wouldn't work.
Why?
Because an engine always needs all pistons to run.
In this trading engine one of those pistons is me. And I know me.
I'm not a good team player.
I don't follow rules.
I trust almost nobody.
AND I have always had serious rebellious (dickheadedness) tendencies towards anyone telling me what to do.
If I built a bot that just shouted "Buy" or "Sell," I'd inevitably end up arguing with it then smashing it to pieces.
I needed something even I couldn't argue with.
I needed STATS.
Not my unreliable backtesting results from a solitary model on a single timeframe that had taken hours of my life to complete & scribble down -
I needed up-to-date, accurate, constantly evolving, unarguable & verifiable statistics for fucking everything.
I needed these stats to satisfy the millions of "what if I'd just done this slightly differently" questions so I could finally put that doubtful fucker in the back of my mind to sleep once and for all.
So, since the summer of 2025, I started using AI to code, and my challenge began.
I spent every spare minute building what is now a complete beast of a backtester.
It tracks the math of several setups and gives me the most recent probabilities possible - live and in realtime.
It doesn't trade for me.
But it does alert me when my models form on the chart and it tells me, instantly, which models, which days, which hours, and which directions have actually been profitable across the last 5,000 candles.
No signals.
No arrows.
Just stats I can't argue with.
Makes perfect sense to me man, some folks handle losses easier than others. Some know win rate isn't everything you need to be profitable & some can take great profits without throwing half back into the markets. Knowing where your emotions lie within certain situations is something you can only get from journaling imo. I learned to compromise my net average pnl to improve my win rates because I know it helps keep my emotions in check.
There's a lot of talk of stats going on tonight, I love it! I built something to give me stats of recent trade setups & how the stats measured up to help put my mind at ease & make me less emotional before & after entering trades. It's TradingView tool that surfaces a live Profit Factor for 5 ICT entry models, unique per direction coupled with PD array targeting & stop loss systems, full model customisations for entries TP's & SL's plus a tonne of other stats on the chart across 6 selectable tables showing day & hour matrices, entry model leaderboard, Killzone & Macro win rates, max & average drawdown per trade & full account, losing streaks, winning streaks, tracking every trade lifecycle live for the last 5000 candles. I honestly think seeing these stats on the chart as and when you want to while you're trading is a real value add for a lot of traders that don't even know it exists, I'd obviously love for you to get eyes on it Kitt, I won't post the website or anything here because shilling isn't my intention, I just think it's a cool thing to save serious amounts of time for folks, if you like the sound of it then drop us a DM, if not no worries I'll still be listening to all TRU episodes. ✊🏻
I like that he mentioned clarity in what would be available, maybe I just didn't understand it properly it just made me wonder what was in it for him to make it into a business. Wasn't trying to offend anyone, I'm all about people trying to make something for themselves & if it helps other people then even better! So if it's legit then fair play to him & if it came across offensive I apologise bro. ❤️
What's with the price tag?
The price is $299 per year (with a 14-day free trial, no charge if canceled early).15
This comes directly from the official sales page on Whop and the product’s site (https://t.co/5nbFRRMyT6).
It’s sold as “founding pricing” with limited seats, and access is granted by confirming your TradingView username after purchase.
Why that price tag?
It’s a premium, specialized TradingView Pine Script indicator/toolkit aimed at serious ICT/SMC traders.
Here’s the value proposition that justifies it for its target users:
•Deep customization and simulation: 5 entry models (Displacement, FVG, i-FVG, Order Block, Breaker Block), 210+ config options across 45 settings groups, multiple target/partial/SL methods, session filters, HTF alignment, etc. It doesn’t just detect setups — it simulates full trade outcomes bar-by-bar with your exact rules.
•Live Insight Monitor dashboard: 6 built-in pages with 24+ metrics (win rate, profit factor, drawdown, streaks, day/hour analysis, model leaderboard, recent trades audit). Real-time stats as price moves, no external backtester needed.
•Practical features: Alerts (Discord/Telegram/webhooks), no signal arrows (it’s a research/feedback tool, not a bot), works on any instrument/timeframe.
•Documentation: Full quick start, walkthroughs, and manual to help users actually use the 200+ options effectively.
For comparison, other advanced TradingView indicator bundles or suites (e.g., some Quantum Trading packages) often price in the $200–$700+ range for lifetime or annual access. This one is niche — built specifically for ICT/SMC rule-testing and optimization in real time — so the developer (Reggie_W) is positioning it as a high-value edge tool rather than a mass-market script.
Is it worth it? That depends on you.
If you’re deep into discretionary ICT trading and spend hours manually backtesting or tweaking rules, the time saved + data-driven insights could pay for itself quickly (especially with the trial to test it).
If you’re a beginner or casual trader, it might feel overkill.
Always use the 14-day trial, read the quick start guide first, and remember the disclaimers: past simulated performance ≠ future results, and it’s a research tool, not trading advice.
Limit order missed by 2 ticks again?
SL tagged then ripped?
IOTSIM alerts you with *your* exact rules, then the live Insight Monitor shows exactly what tweaking entry or adding SL wiggle room would’ve done — in real time.

You assume your ICT setups work the same long and short. On NQ across 5,000 candles, they don’t. Proving that by hand means two full backtests — every OB, FVG, breaker logged twice — across stop methods, targets and time windows.
IOTSIM runs every combination above on the chart in real time. Longs and shorts independent. Every filter toggleable. Change a setting, the 25 metrics recalculate.
@ICT_Concepts Agreed, most traders find one killzone they like and stop there instead of putting the work in, backtesting every hour to their model and seeing which one’s actually paying.
