They are play a picture perfect family and play the role of the Super Dad taking care of the kid(s) and it's hard to believe that they are ordinary with real representations of who they are. #returnofsuperman#kvarietytv
Korean variety keeps that picture perfect family image and nothing outside of that image is supported. They don't talk about immigrant families, interracial families, queer couples trying to support a family, nor do they speak about its ok to love a child when they aren't perfect
Another issue with this show is that we see this perfect family that looks the part of an ideal family with ideal children. You don't see these families taking care of a child with disabilities. This then discourages families to take care have a child with disabilities.
Another issue is that the underlying message is as a women who is supposed to the the main audience looks at the show and thinks they should be their own family because look how fun it is and how caring men can by. However there is no room for queer couples or interracial couple

The show present heterosexual men taking care of children and often makes the mother seem absent when behind the screen they are the main caretakers. They also criticize the kids for being kids often make their hissy fits look like bad tantrums.

In this instagram post, a mother of two comments on how the show is so edited it paints a different picture and dramatizes situations. It's supposed to seem like an innocent show but often it's a competition of who is the cuter kid with the most aegyo.
As an audience member I want to believe that these reality tv programs portray "ordinary people" as ordinary when they are celebrities who have time to be on a TV. Such as Return of Superman have their own perspective and it's own story to tell.
E-sports doesn't require you to have a certain weight, height, age, or race. In my opinion, this sports brings in more people since the only thing you need to be able to compete is passion and dedication. ANYONE & EVERYONE CAN PLAY!
it's often that people use sports and basketball to find themselves and I believe esports/pcgames do the same for gamers. It gives them confidence and makes them competitive. Most importantly, its inclusive.

Competing in esports isn't easy, some many people have also been playing the same games and have also spent hours playing those games. The competition is like a battlefield that comes with other stresses.
I think UCI took a great step forward as to having esport scholarships. The fact that a gamer can win $50,000 shows that even a university recognized the community and their dedication to competitive esports.
I think with the hours of practice and mental focus required to be a competitive esports gamer, it is very similar to other athletic sports. It takes alot of mental strength to go through a campaign and let alone win the games.
She was seen as controversial with her producing content of eating live seafood and seen as cruel. The comments section was a battleground saying she went too far and loved your torturing animals. The comments got so nasty she turned off the comments.
When the video first came out there was a lot of black lash since it was a live animal on video. The woman puts salt on the octopus to clean it and people were making hurtful comments that she was abusing the animal all for getting views and making content.
