Jefferson Head Start students braved the stormy ⛈ weather this morning to enjoy an EcoLand Experience. They had fun exploring and investigating in our Wind, Solar ☀️, Farm to Table 🐄, Plants 🌱 & Animals, Rock 🪨 , and Water 💦 interactive learning centers! @Region7ESC
Carthage PreK said their favorite things, at EcoLand, included: Gracie the bunny🐇, the tent⛺️ in the Serengeti room, the sled🛷 in the Polar room, investigating the tree🌳 in Plants & Animals. One said he LOVED IT ALL!! And many said outside☀️ was their favorite! @Region7ESC
Sugar Gliders Meal Time 🐸 We love Terry the Tree Frog’s newest friends! Did you know that sugar gliders get their name from their love of sweet foods and their ability to glide? They are native to Australia,Tasmania, Indonesia & Papua-New Guinea. They are marsupials.

Carthage ISD enjoyed EcoLand! Mrs. Cole’s class said they liked the “tree house”, especially writing about trees AND they loved planting carrots in the garden! Mrs. Shield’s class said they enjoyed the igloo AND taking a Serengeti ride in the jeep, especially seeing the giraffe!
