Today, the first-ever purchase on a secondary Coretime marketplace was made on @kusamanetwork 🚀
Our marketplace—with full UI support—is now officially live on Kusama. This is a big milestone for us.
We’re the first—and the only—team to deliver a secondary Coretime marketplace!
exhibit 2: you can go to @RegionXLabs hub and literally buy a core for your blockspace *today* on @Polkadot
i wonder what the “first multi-core world computer* (not even live) thinks about this, cc @LayerZero_Core
p.s. i can’t believe im shilling polkadot now
As 2025 comes to an end, we’re excited to share that RegionX Hub is now feature-complete.
This year, RegionX became the primary interface for Agile Coretime in the @Polkadot ecosystem.
Thanks to everyone for the support—onward to 2026🚀
@MartyLikesParty Due to a change of plans and the current low Coretime cost on Kusama, we have paused the network for now. We'd prefer to bring it back when it can provide meaningful value, rather than run it at a cost without clear benefits at this stage.
We’re glad to see the funding request approved, giving us the opportunity to finalize the RegionX Hub application.
Thanks to everyone who supported our proposal.
@RegionXLabs Hub funding request for retroactive work, key features, and maintenance of Polkadot coretime UI/dashboard has been approved https://t.co/dYKrwCMwrA
I just renewed the Polkadot core that @Bifrost is running on for one more month. Thanks to @RegionXLabs it was only a few clicks.
You can just do things.
Thanks for the vote! We’re unsure why market fit is being questioned. RegionX Hub is the only product that provides an interface for Agile Coretime. It’s actively used by parachain teams to track sale cycles and complete purchases and renewals. It serves a clear purpose in the ecosystem.
We believe it is important to have things set up on time. We cannot move forward with pessimism—that leads to stagnation. Setting up the infrastructure for the Coretime market is not something that can be done overnight, so we cannot simply delay it until it becomes urgent. Not having it set up on time could create a negative image for Polkadot, as teams will face a significant barrier when they want to deploy.

Proof of Work was clearly provided through GitHub PRs, making deliverables easy to verify.
The team maintained steady development with additional features and improvements beyond the original scope.
0/ New @kusamanetwork sale cycle—this one’s different. 👀
Secondary marketplace is live: buy a core during any phase for less than 8 KSM.
Sale cycle starts at 100 KSM, but you can get one for 8 KSM on the marketplace right away.
See how 👇
6/ The secondary market makes a big difference to Coretime procurement dynamics and unlocks many new possibilities. We’re proud to have this live.
We’re also improving the UX, making all of this a one-click operation. 👀
Looking forward to sharing the improvements we ship.
5/ Want to purchase a core during the sale cycle and share it with other projects? You can do that by interlacing or partitioning a Coretime region, then listing the portion you want to share on the marketplace.
