As I have been saying for years, the glue that held this entire conspiracy together was hatred of Trump. It was what drove everyone from Fauci and the permanent bureaucracy to the media, scientific journals, and academia to lie about virtually everything, and it was what bound them together in maintaining those lies long after they had been exposed.

If there are any honest psychologists and sociologists left, they should be writing books about this period as an extraordinary case study in mass deception, institutional conformity, and the willingness of entire professions to subordinate truth to their hatred of one man.
