We need to draw a line, no mass surveillance. It’s not even a hypothetical slippery slope, we’re sliding rapidly while they continue to lie to us about what the system can or can’t do. At the same time we have the Mandami/DSA, we have Shiloh situations playing out. I have zero doubt this is a valuable tool for law enforcement, we just can’t have it.

Hopefully the appellate courts overturn on First Amendment grounds.

The Shiloh Hendrix case isn't even a close call or a grey area. She was charged and convicted of a crime for saying a word. If that's not a violation of the First Amendment, nothing is. This is one of the most straight forward free speech issues we've seen in a long time.
