Both those friends and I are now different people. A lot of them I could easily message again right now, it's not like we lost contact, and yet I miss them. I think the moment when our lives intersected has passed. Maybe another time will come later.

I have multiple non-vtuber friends both online and offline that have moved to different stages of their lives that don't include me anymore, or are such that we don't have much in common anymore. I miss the friends they used to be, but wish them well. I think that's similar.
