I will never wake up in the middle of the night for a fs comp ever again!! I will never have my heart rate skyrocket to unhealthy levels before a fs comp ever again!!
'defending' is difficult, very difficult. you have to sacrifice things. because i'm challenging i don't have to do those things. that's all it was for me, like with the 4a. i've treasured these challenges [ok sorry i'm getting teary at this one and aborting ship lol]
Q: rather than defending as a champion, you challenged as a champion. thoughts?
A: challenge... there's nothing special about my position, or that it was bc i am the champion. everyone challenges things in their daily lives, no matter how small. i think that's what living is.
also the guy on french eurosport while talking about yuzuru hanyu "the weakness of this system is that it doesn't reflect his supreme performance tonight" i mean yes please say it loud
“I had a few mistakes but I showed the people my story, I think the mistakes make up a part of my program, but I’m happy with it!” -Yuzuru Hanyu talks to #CBC while holding a bag of ice behind his back. He said he got injured during practice Wednesday #Beijing2022WinterOlympics
I dare not say I know what exactly Yuzuru is thinking, but I know the inner feeling of accomplishment matters the most. He has been constantly talking about 4A for 4 years despite injuries and health issues. He is getting closer to that fully rotated 4A. Go get it, Yuzuru.
TBH Yuzuru's final goal has always been the 4A, not any other gold. He just wants that 4A so all I do is wish him well. Might he land that jump and find his inner peace. What other people say do not matter, what you feel towards your goal matters.
