@DanCanobbio It should be next but it won’t - Ortiz will take a fight to shake off the rust and Boots will further unify vs. Josh Kelly (a Matchroom fighter who fights next month). We will see Boots v Ortiz sometime in 2027….
@ryansongalia I am guessing Kelly will be next. He is a Matchroom fighter and fights next month. If he wins, sets up a unification fight for 3 of the belts later this year
@KendrickPerkins Great fight but not fight of the year. Please checkout Daniel Dubois vs Fabio Wardley. That is the fight of the year so far - and there is no debate
@BreadmanBoxing Never understood people who didn’t see Boots as a special fighter - and a bad dude. It was obvious to me that he had P4P talent. Just needed a chance to prove it.
@dougiefischer Hell of a performance by Boots - and great heart from Zayas. But, Boots is a bad dude. Always thought he was special. He just needed an opportunity.
@dougiefischer One of the more shocking things I have ever seen in the ring. People forget that Jones was being mentioned as maybe the greatest fighter of all time at that time
@Tom_Gray_Boxing@naoyainoue@sn_fights Inoue should stay at 122, defend against Goodman and AJ, which would give Nakatani time to move up and make the biggest fight in Japanese history by the end of 2025
@YoungDanielDad I don’t think so, if he can get MJ and Goodman in the ring over the next year. I agree, he eventually needs to move up to 126, but a Nakatani-Inoue fight may be the best fight you can make in boxing.
@BreadmanBoxing@DoubleOtakes Truly a 50-50 fight. I think Bivol’s toughness is underrated. He will need to be at his very best to beat Beterbiev - and I think he will have a career-best performance
