Great day today at the Payne family farm at North Yalgogrin with 30 farmers turning up to test drive a range of gear from JJ FARM EQUIPMENT, despite the wet conditions!

We had several pieces equipment on site with CLAAS & KIOTI tractors, LIUGONG wheel loader & excavator, CFMOTO bikes & a STOLL sprayer.

The CLAAS AXION 950 was very popular with nearly everyone having a drive & stating how smooth it was & easy to operate, they all came away impressed!

The LIUGONG 848T wheel loader was also popular with guys talking to the LIUGONG reps & plenty asking for quotes on new machines.

We had a CFMOTO U10 Pro Highland UTV & CFORCE 520 ATV on site that impressed everyone with the ride & in particular the creature comforts of the U10.

Actual blue water (irrigation/freshwater withdrawal) per pound of produce:

- Almonds: 1,900 gallons
- Walnuts: 1,400 gallons
- Avocados: 320 gallons
- Beef (feedlot): 100 gallons
- Beef (pasture): <20 gallons

The "beef uses too much water" people are eating almonds and avocados while lecturing about water use.

The irony is loud.
