AI cultists at least I understand their psychology. It's a form of cynicism, let the world burn but not in the way expected, but we create the dead internet, everything is filled with slop and basically bots are better than humans. They are just cynic about civilization.
Boomers are putting videogames in the same category as alcohol and porn, nudging about "those young people who are lost in addiction". It's pathetic! They just didn't grow up with video games. If I am not interested in poetry, I can think it's such a waste of time too.
Moved away from all cultural/political discussions (it was never what I wanted, I just wanted to play video games and that's it).
Everybody is really LARPing. Nobody is saving "The West". Nobody cares, everything is performative.
@LatcuFlorentin@pureMetatron No, I agree, I don't try to defend the trans ideology. But if you ask some random guy 30 years ago what is a woman, they would be mental searching through some definition, wouldn't just say the right 3 words together. Because it is what we see and are familiar, no need for more.
@ericweinstein How about neutral? How about AI is neither the magnificent intelligence that makes everything obsolete but nor something to ignore completely. What's the yikes about? It's good to be skeptical.
@LatcuFlorentin@pureMetatron I don't have any issue to remember the definition and say "adult human female". It's just sounds cringe and the question is cringe. I would also be posing if you asked me on the fly what is a woman and I would be like we all know what is a woman if you see her.
@Rizstanford Now the government talking about that, I don't know. Why now? Psy-ops is also in the package.
So much I want to stop bothering with the phenomenon-logy and go back to video games.
@Rizstanford The very Jacques Valee, John Keel and now Nathaniel Gilles and other's theory now.
Or more like a phenomenon that we don't know what the hell it is, it might be deceiving us or other.
But it's getting so absurd but interesting at the same time,I use it to phase it from reality :)
@GreeneMan6 It's just modernity, if people don't want to and don't have to, they won't do it. Suppose we blame either men or women or both, why would the average person be moved by obligations as forced by cultural messages? Then people seek excuses to justify. I am kinda tired.
@GreeneMan6 There is creative leisure, like doing art, writing code, building things in your garage, where there is a sense of accomplishment and sometimes something good comes out. And then there is everyday leisure, movies, books, videogames. And I am fine with both.
@BretWeinstein Two classes. Those who use too much AI to code and those who still don't prefer. They will survive in parallel. One can certainly write good software in the future the way we presently do and some will chose to.
@BretWeinstein You can have a society and economy working with what will be considered traditional methods in the future. I predict a schism of people using AI for everything and people doing things the way we always did. Both societies can survive in parallel. We will figure it out.
@BretWeinstein Even if it happened, it's gonna collapse or it will be undesirable from humans. Whose gonna fuel the economy if nobody has a job to buy things. Unless they want to kill 95% of us or something.
@RealPaulElam Also, I always felt there is some kind of narcissism behind that sense that you found the special one and you are so special for being together. Passion is so egotistic around couples tied by these forces, that here is where usually things can get too hot in relationships.
@RealPaulElam I tend to agree, but I am someone who has never experienced it and it seems to me more like a cultural idea that has been exaggerated. Others might have been or being sold of it's existence because humans want to believe in some of the feel good ideas our culture have created.
@AydinPaladin@RandoManBro Why am I getting all these messages? It's not about crypto, it's just an old discord account that wasn't very important anyway, it can just die.
