Sandra Bullock's partner Bryan Randall has died of ALS at the age of 57.

The two met over 8 years ago. He had been diagnosed with ALS about 3 years ago, and the disease progressed quickly.

It's always so sad to see people get these terribly debilitating diseases, and lose their battles at such a young age.

Hopefully science, in combination with AI and super computers, can one day find cures to some of these terrible diseases.

I really do have a lot of hope that within the next 10-30 years we will begin seeing solutions to so many of our medical mysteries. Let's work together as humans to try and put as end to ALS, to Cancer, to MS, to Alzheimer's to Heart Disease and to addiction.
